February 2017 Haul~

Helloo beautiful readers, it's been a while since I posted an update~

So it's been a while since I purchased any skin care item except for mask. I'm running low on cleanser and toner so I decided to go online shopping. Here are the few things that I bought. I'll be doing separate reviews on the products, price and where to get it in the next post.

List:
- Cosrx Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser (Day)
- Laneige Deep Clearing Foam Cleanser (Night)
- Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Watery Toner
- Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Borabit Ampoule
- Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence (Intensive Moist)
- CNP Laboratory Invisible Peeling Booster
- Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask

*Note: I have combination and sensitive skin. It usually depends on my condition, sometimes it's dry!

I've been using a few products for quite sometime and they're my 2nd or 3rd purchase this round.

1. COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser.

So previously as yall know, I've been using the Neogen Green Tea Bubble cleanser and I stated it as my no.7th favourite from the previous post HERE. But the after finishing the whole bottle, I personally think it's not really doing a good job and it finishes in the speed of lightning. -.-"

Maybe due to the weather change, my skin has been pretty sensitive ranging from dry to oily. So after browsing around, I found this gel cleanser from COSRX. It has pretty great reviews on it so  I'll be doing a review on it soon. XD

2. Laneige Pore Deep Clearing Foam.

This is the 2nd cleanser I bought since the COSRX Gel cleanser is super mild and low in pH, I figure it wont be enough for my double cleansing at night. Sometimes I do wear foundation and sunscreen so I might need a stronger cleanser at night. So yeah, I'll be trying it out.

3. Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Watery Toner.

My third item is this watery toner from Nature Republic and I absolute love it. It was listed as my top 3 fav item for the year 2016 and this is my 2nd time purchasing this toner.

4. Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Borabit Ampoule.

I can't believe how long the name for this ampoule is! It's also known as the Missha Longer name ampoule. I was given a free sample size ampoule before this and I absolutely love it so I decided to get a full size 50ml. I'll be doing a separate review on how much I love this thing! LOL!

5. Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence. [Intensive Moist]

This is also my 2nd time purchasing full size essence from Missha. It's my absolute Holy Grail! I don't think I can survive without including this into my daily night skin care routine. I first purchased the travel size essence, loved it and bought a full size 2nd Generation as seen in my previous post.

It made it's way to my top no.1 favourite item for the year 2016. For the 2nd Generation it is only listed as [Intensive] but for the 3rd Generation is it now listed as [Intensive Moist] I have yet to try it out so I'm not sure what are the differences. After trying it out, I'll be doing a separate review.

6. CNP Laboratory Invisible Peeling Booster.

I was looking around and accidentally stumble upon this item. It's from CNP Laboratory and I have never use any of their product. So it looks interesting so I did some research and saw tons of great reviews. After reading reviews to reviews, I decided to purchase it. If it doesn't work on my skin, I'll pass it on to my mum.

I'll be trying it out then post up a review next month. Let's hope it lives up to its great reviews.

7. Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask.

I know this product has been in the market for quite sometime but I've yet to try it out. There was a hype on this product by many youtubers and bloggers so I'll be trying it out and see if it's really that great.

Let's hope my sensitive skin doesn't react badly to this product.

*

I guess that's it for this post. I will be putting up reviews in the next post. Stay tune for more!

See yall soon! <3

Nail Polish Collections

Nail Polish Collections

Hello everybody!! It's been a while since I've update this site. I do update my personal blog if you follow me HERE . If yall follow me at Snapchat or Instagram @ KimmmyLoo you'll know that I love nail polishes the most and have tons of them! So with that, I decided to customize a rack for it and it's finally done! I've been dying to get my hands on it and it's finally ready and up on my wall.

I personally love collecting nail polishes and painting my nails whenever I'm free. I don't get it from a single brand only but I get it from any brand that I come across. It's pretty much a side hobby I enjoy whenever I'm bored. Maybe it will turn out to be a career in the future? Who knows?

What I have here is from Etude House, Nature Republic, The Face Shop, Skin food, Holika Holika, SASA and a few random ones as gifts from others.

I have so many bottle of polishes, sometimes i lost track of what colour I have or forgot how it looks like on my nails so I constantly have to try it on to see how the colour looks like on my nail. Getting annoyed with it, I decided to get some false nail sets from Ebay for about USD $1.70. I have the colour swatches on it to make my life easier rather than wasting cotton and nail polish remover.

So far my favourite one is from Nature Republic and Face Shop. The way the brush length and shape is, it is pretty easy to apply. It has a pretty thick consistency too so 1 layer is enough usually.

Separately I have a box to put all my other nail stuffs. I didn't want everything to lie around my table or get tons of containers stacking it one by one to put everything in so I was complaining to my mom about it so she got me this tool box kit and I love it. I keep my stamping kit, dotting tools, nail files, clippers, nail swatches, base coat, top coat, nail thinner and a few other things in there so everything is at reach when I need it.

That's all from my nail polish collections. Stay tune for more updates~

[Review] Nature Republic's Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera Gel.

Hello again fellow readers.

I'm back again and this time I'll be doing a review on Nature Republic's 92% Aloe Vera Gel and different ways to use it.

I happen to stumble upon this Aloe Vera gel from Nature Republic when I step foot into their shop at the Miri branch. I'm guessing it should Aloe Vera season because there are stacks and stacks of it pilling up in their shop.

Description.

- It contains 92% Aloe Vera leaf extract.

Soothing and Moisturizing
- It provides soothing and moisture effects to the sensitive skin.

Skin firming and moisturizing effect
- Fast absorbing gel that provides a refreshing feel to the skin.

Makes the skin healthy
- Keeps the surface of the face and body healthy.

- The vitamins from the Aloe Vera extract, such as Vitamins E, C and other minerals, keep the skin moisturized and protecting it from UV rays. The fresh Aloe Vera ingredient absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any sticky residue behind.

The product itself is claimed to be 9 free nature formulas such as Paraben, Animal Ingredients, Benzophenone, Artificial Coloring, DiozaneChlorphenesin, Mineral Oil, Formaldehyde and Sulfate.

Enriched with 92% Aloe Very! Mild formula free paraben, mineral oil and artificial color. This soothing gel with 92% organic Aloe Vera was certified by California Certified Organic Farmers(CCOF) can be used to mildly moisturize various parts of the body often for best results.

As you can see, the Aloe Vera gel appears to be transparent.

Directions.

There are different ways to use this Aloe Vera gel such as on your body, hair and face.

Face.
- Go through your daily routine and use this Aloe Vera Gel as the last step.

-You can use it as a mask by leaving it on your face for 15-20 minutes in a generous amount then wash it off with  warm water.

- For moisturizer, just apply a small amount enough to cover the entire face after cleansing, toning and serum. It absorbs to your skin very quickly so you need not worry about sticky residue on your skin.

- Recommended to all dry skin and sensitive skin people.

Hair.

1. Use it as a shampoo for the extra boost of moisturizing ingredient. By adding the gel at a ratio of 2 gel : 1 shampoo. Mix it together and shampoo as usual.

2. Use it as a conditioner by adding the Aloe Vera gel to your conditioner or use the Aloe Vera gel alone by applying it to damp hair starting at the scalp and working downwards to the ends of your hair. Wrap your hair with disposable shower cap or a towel for at least 15 minutes. Wash it off after the treatment.
- OR use it as a leave on treatment after shower on damp hair.

Body.

- Apply it to dry parts of your body (arms & legs) for extra moisturizer.

Make up.

- For people with dry skin problems, not being able to search for the right BB Cream/Foundation to use, you can mix your BB Cream/Foundation together with this Aloe Vera Gel at a ratio of 1:1. It helps to keep your skin moisturize and it provides a glow to your skin creating the natural make up look.

Benefits of Aloe Vera.

- It helps to prevent acne from occurring as Aloe Vera has antibacterial properties that are very effective in treating acne and reducing the redness.

- Not just acne, Aloe Very helps to reduce acne scars by promoting skin regeneration.

- Provides great amount of moisture and hydration to dry and sensitive skin.

- It can also be applied to sun burned areas to provide soothing or if you accidentally burn your fingers or any part of your skin on a hot pan or hot water, apply it immediately.

Comments.

- I have personally used this Aloe Vera gel on my face for a few weeks now and I've notice my face have been more hydrated than in the past which can be clearly seen as my pores have minimized.

- It has a pleasant scent not too strong but it does linger around even after it absorbs into your skin.

- It is fairly easy to wash off and it absorbs very quickly without leaving behind a sticky residue.

Ratings 8/10.

The reason why I did not give it a better rating because of it's packaging. It comes in a can and there might be some hygienic problem occurring unless you use a spatula for hygienic purposes but due to its affordable price and great benefits I decided to increase it's rating.

*New Ratings 9/10

Where to purchase?

- I purchased my Aloe Vera gel recently from Nature Republic's outlet at Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia at Boulevard 1st Floor. They happen to have a promotion going on when I was there. 4 can @ RM95 and 1 @RM39. I've heard great reviews on their aloe vera gel so I decided to get the promo package 4 cans @ RM95.

- The Aloe Vera gel comes in a can of 300ml/10.56 fl.oz. It should be able to last a long time if you were to use it for face only but be aware of the expiry date on the bottom of the can.
