July Haul Part II

Miri Haul

This is my second haul for the month and this time it's a trip down to Miri. Stuffs from Daiso Japan at Parkson and from Watson.

So I've heard great things about Daiso's beauty product so I've decided to grab a few to test it out. RM5.30 include GST for everything so it's pretty worth it for good quality products. So I am here to test out a few nail and eye products. Maybe food too! LOL.

As for Watsons, I just love getting beauty products from there cause I get to collect points and member's discounts. So pretty worth it!

Let's start with Daiso.

 Stuffs I got from Daiso worth RM50.30 including GST -> BND$18. RM5.30 per item -> BND$1.90 (2.79)

Nail products

Eyelid sticker

Gel and liquid eyeliner

Pretty Gel Liner with a giant plastic diamond on top.

Liquid hard brush eyeliner.

Purchases from Watson.

Total purchase RM64.56 including GST -> BND$23.15 (2.79)

Make up cleansing oil RM21 -> BND$7.50

Aqua Defense Toner RM17.05 -> BND$6.10
Aqua Defense Essence RM19.75 -> BND$7.08

RENU Fresh Contact Lens solution. 2 + 1 RM15.80 -> BND$5.66

Total Purchases from Watson and Daiso RM117.56 -> BND$42.14

That is why I love shopping in Miri. *Thumbs up*

Daiso and Watson Beauty product review will be updated soon after I do an experiment with them.

[Review] The Faceshop - Lovely Me:Ex Catch My Eyeliner #01 Black

It's been a while beautiful reader~ I'm back with a new review. It's the Faceshop Lovely Me:Ex Catch My Eyeliner in #1 Black. I am super picky when it comes to auto pencil eyeliner and if I am reviewing it in a positive way that means it is really worth it!

I didn't know about this product until I went for a little shopping spree last week to update my shelf. The beauty haul can be seen HERE  I did get the brown one too but decided to do a review on the black one. However, if you decide to go with a softer look, get the brown one as the black one gives a stronger effect on your eyes.

The last eyeliner that I fell in love with was from Holika Holika but they are no longer being manufactured. >.< However, I found a new Auto-Pencil eyeliner from Faceshop that has similar consistency as my previous eyeliner.

Lovely My:Ex Catch My Eyeliner has 2 ends. One end is the sponge tip used to create a smoky effect. It is super convenient to blend the liner without bringing a separate blending tool. The other end is the auto liner.

With a little twist you get to adjust the length of the eyeliner.

To show you the colour, I tested it out on the back of my hands. It is super pigmented and creamy. You do not need to apply much force to create a fine line.

Sponge on the other end of the tip to help blend out the eyeliner to create a smokey effect.

Smudge/smokey effect after using the sponge tip.

PROS

- Convenient because of the two way liner. Do not need a separate blending brush to create the smokey effect.

- It is very pigmented and creamy. Easy to apply

- It is not too expensive. Around BND$14.90 - 10% member's discount.

- It is easy to blend.

- It is available at all Faceshop branch. ( I hope they don't stop manufacturing it or I guess I should return to get a few more. LOL )

- Can last a long time due to the length available.

CONS

- It is not waterproof.

- Gets smudge throughout the day turning you into a panda! To avoid this, I suggest using an eye primer.

- The eyeliner may break if it falls, so avoid dropping your eyeliner.

SUGGESTION

This is a pretty decent auto-pencil eyeliner to get for a beginner trying to learn how to apply eyeliner. It is cheap and easy to apply This could be use as a guideline before applying on liquid liner. Due to it's consistency, it is easy to be applied especially on the water line, it makes your eyes pop resulting in bigger looking eyes.

RATINGS

Price - 7/10
It is pretty cheap after discount so I guess it's a good deal.

Package - 8.5/10
It comes with two ends so I love it!

Product - 8.5/10
It is pigmented and creamy that calls for easy application.

Would I get it again if it runs out?

Yes, for sure I would return to get it again but at the mean time I'll continue to hunt for a better auto-pencil eyeliner.

The end of my review. Stay tune for more updates.

Cheers,
Kimmy
