[Review] Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask

As seen on my previous post, I finally have an update for all you pretty readers. Today I'll be doing a review on the Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask! I know this mask have been in the market for a while now and I'm only doing the review now but I do have a reason! LOL! My skin wasn't in the greatest condition when this mask was released. Now that my skin is in a better condition, I'll be trying it out!

Do take note that this product is NON HALAL!

Elizavecca Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask. With the hype going on around the beauty industry, let's see if its really that great of a product.

Packaging
- It comes in a small grey container.
- 100 ml worth of product.
- I quite like the simple packaging and the piggy with the mask on. LOL!
- The expiry date and manufactured date can be found on the bottom of the container.

Inside
- It has a small spatula and a tight plastic lid over the mask.

Texture before applying.
- It's a greyish slimy cream type mask.
- It's like jello.
- It's so fun to look at! XD

Beneficial ingredient:

As the product page stated, this mask contains Green Tea extract, Pomegranate extract, Charcoal Powder, Collagen, Glycerin.

Here are the full ingredients:

Purified Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, White Clay, Acrylate Copolymer, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Methyl Perfluorobutyl Ether, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Lauramide DEA, TEA-Cocoyl Glutamate, Green Tea Extracts, Glycerine, Dipropylene Glycol, Bentonite, Collagen, Charcoal Powder, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Flavouring Agents, Carbonated Water, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA, Allantoin, Butylene Glycol, Lavender Extracts, Monarda Didyma Leaf Extracts, Peppermint Leaf Extracts, Freesia Leaf Extracts, Chamomile Flower Extracts, Rosemary Leaf Extracts

Charcoal Powder
It pulls out dirt and oil from pores.

Green Tea Extract
Soothes sensitive skin

Glycerin
Anti Ageing treatments
Used in acne treatments
Helps to retain skin moisture

What the product claims to do:

- The carbonated bubble unclog pores and removes dead skin.
- The carbonated bubble helps to stimulate the skin to bring out a healthy glow.
- Removes black head.

How to use:

Step 1.

- Pick up mask with the spatula provided.

Step 2.

- Apply it all over face. Work fast. Trust me, if you work slowly the foam will start forming before you even finish covering your face.
- Spread it evenly.
- Wait and see the magic happen.

Within 20 seconds, small fine bubble will start forming. It's so interesting watching the bubbles form.

1 minute after application. As you can see the bubbles started forming, you can hear the bubbling fizzy happening around your skin.

You can feel the tingling sensation around your whole face as the bubble keeps growing.

Step 3.

After 5 - 10 minutes, run fingers under warm water and rub onto skin. Massage for a minute and wash your face as you would with a cleanser.

Texture after applying

It's not what I expected. I initially thought that the bubbles would be fine and soft but it's actually sticky. It turns into a soapy feel once massaged with warm water.

Scent

I'm not quite sure what the smell is but it smells like a sweet fruity smell. Not too bad.

Personal opinion

Once applied, you can feel a tingly sensation just like drinking sprite or coke. I have a very sensitive skin so I was hesitating whether to try on this product or not. However, thank god my skin did not react badly to the mask. I did not get any redness or itch on my face. It has the same feeling as dipping your face into carbonated water.

However! It is a hassle washing it off. It is sooo hard to wash the mask off. It's slippery and foamy, I had to use cotton wipes to remove the clay off my skin. So I think using it before shower will be a better idea.

It is worth the hype?

To be honest, it's worth playing around with this mask because it's so much fun watching the mask grow 5x its original size but in terms of helping the skin, I don't think so.

Does it do what it claims?

To be honest, I don't think the mask does what it claims to do. Removes black head? Neh, I don't think so. Gives a healthy glow? Hmmm, not really. Removes dead skin and dirt? Maybe? Not that sure, maybe I have to use it more often to see it's effect.

PROS
- Smells great
- Decent amount of product for its price
- Fun to play with.

CONS
- Might not be suitable for dry skin or very sensitive skin.
- Not much effect on skin.
- Overrated product to be honest.

Price

I bought it for RM40 during sales in Hermo.

Where to purchase?

Hermo - HERE
Amazon - HERE
YESSTYLE - HERE

Ratings

Price - 4/5
Pretty worth it during sales

Size - 4/5
I guess it's a decent amount at 100ml

Hygiene - 2/5
I don't really like things in a jar. I prefer it to be in a tube but I guess for this product it works better being in a tub.

Packaging - 3.5/5
I like the simple package but not the colour.

Claims - 2/5
Not really feeling it for this clay mask.

Will I repurchase this product?

I don't think I will be repurchasing this product. It's worth the hype though, watching the bubble form and the tingling sensation is pretty cool. However, coming down to the benefits, I don't think it I like it that much but I do prefer the Innisfree Super Volcanic Clay Mask.

Originality Check

On the box, you will get a seal with a QR Code and numbers to check for originality. Gently scrape the silver part to reveal 16 numbers to check.

*Beware of imitation Elizavecca products.

That's it for my first impression/review for my first product from Elizavecca. The above review is not sponsored by anybody and it is all my personal opinion on the Elizavecca Carbonated Clay mask.

February 2017 Haul~

Helloo beautiful readers, it's been a while since I posted an update~

So it's been a while since I purchased any skin care item except for mask. I'm running low on cleanser and toner so I decided to go online shopping. Here are the few things that I bought. I'll be doing separate reviews on the products, price and where to get it in the next post.

List:
- Cosrx Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser (Day)
- Laneige Deep Clearing Foam Cleanser (Night)
- Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Watery Toner
- Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Borabit Ampoule
- Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence (Intensive Moist)
- CNP Laboratory Invisible Peeling Booster
- Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask

*Note: I have combination and sensitive skin. It usually depends on my condition, sometimes it's dry!

I've been using a few products for quite sometime and they're my 2nd or 3rd purchase this round.

1. COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser.

So previously as yall know, I've been using the Neogen Green Tea Bubble cleanser and I stated it as my no.7th favourite from the previous post HERE. But the after finishing the whole bottle, I personally think it's not really doing a good job and it finishes in the speed of lightning. -.-"

Maybe due to the weather change, my skin has been pretty sensitive ranging from dry to oily. So after browsing around, I found this gel cleanser from COSRX. It has pretty great reviews on it so  I'll be doing a review on it soon. XD

2. Laneige Pore Deep Clearing Foam.

This is the 2nd cleanser I bought since the COSRX Gel cleanser is super mild and low in pH, I figure it wont be enough for my double cleansing at night. Sometimes I do wear foundation and sunscreen so I might need a stronger cleanser at night. So yeah, I'll be trying it out.

3. Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Watery Toner.

My third item is this watery toner from Nature Republic and I absolute love it. It was listed as my top 3 fav item for the year 2016 and this is my 2nd time purchasing this toner.

4. Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Borabit Ampoule.

I can't believe how long the name for this ampoule is! It's also known as the Missha Longer name ampoule. I was given a free sample size ampoule before this and I absolutely love it so I decided to get a full size 50ml. I'll be doing a separate review on how much I love this thing! LOL!

5. Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence. [Intensive Moist]

This is also my 2nd time purchasing full size essence from Missha. It's my absolute Holy Grail! I don't think I can survive without including this into my daily night skin care routine. I first purchased the travel size essence, loved it and bought a full size 2nd Generation as seen in my previous post.

It made it's way to my top no.1 favourite item for the year 2016. For the 2nd Generation it is only listed as [Intensive] but for the 3rd Generation is it now listed as [Intensive Moist] I have yet to try it out so I'm not sure what are the differences. After trying it out, I'll be doing a separate review.

6. CNP Laboratory Invisible Peeling Booster.

I was looking around and accidentally stumble upon this item. It's from CNP Laboratory and I have never use any of their product. So it looks interesting so I did some research and saw tons of great reviews. After reading reviews to reviews, I decided to purchase it. If it doesn't work on my skin, I'll pass it on to my mum.

I'll be trying it out then post up a review next month. Let's hope it lives up to its great reviews.

7. Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask.

I know this product has been in the market for quite sometime but I've yet to try it out. There was a hype on this product by many youtubers and bloggers so I'll be trying it out and see if it's really that great.

Let's hope my sensitive skin doesn't react badly to this product.

*

I guess that's it for this post. I will be putting up reviews in the next post. Stay tune for more!

See yall soon! <3

2016 Top 10 Favs!

First of all, I would like to wish all my precious readers a very Happy New Year! Welcome to the year 2017!!

In this post, I would like to go through my top 10 favorites from the year 2016 which some I have reviewed on. I have too many favs but I tried my best to bring in my most fav products for the year 2016 and these are the ones that made it to the top 10! Let's get on with it shall we!

Item no.10 - Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

The Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water manage to make its way up to the top 10! I've been using this for a month and it's refreshing and hydrates the skin after using. This cleansing water does not contain any perfume which is suitable for sensitive skin too. On the plus side, it is pretty affordable too! Definitely worth trying.

Item no.9 - Petitfee Black Pearl & Gold Hydrogel Eye Patch

The skin around our eyes are the most sensitive area! Wrinkles or fine lines usually appears around the eye area first compared to other areas. The Hydrogel Eye Patch from Petitfee is currently my fav. I like keeping it in the fridge and use it twice a week as it helps to sooth and hydrates my eye area. It is very affordable too. It has 60 pieces so you can use it for 30x.

Item no.8 - Freeman Honeydew & Chamomile sleeping mask

I saw this while I was walking around Watsons. The first item from Freeman I've used was the cucumber peel off mask that my friend sent me from the states and I love it so I decided to try out it's sleeping mask too. I didn't have high expectation when I tried on this product but surprisingly it's super hydrating and light. It smells great because of the honeydew. I usually use this when I'm too lazy or busy to put on mask so wearing this before I go to bed is an alternative choice.

Item no.7 - Neogen Green Tea Cleansing Foam

I absolutely love this cleanser cause it pumps out foam which is super convenient! It also has green tea leaves at the bottom of the bottle. However it is my no.7th fav because it seems like I run out of cleanser very fast. I've only used it for a month and I'm left with a quarter solution and the dispenser doesn't reach the bottom. Nonetheless, it's a great cleanser.

Item no.6 - White head remover (Vietname or Thailand product Im not sure)

To be honest I have no idea where this products originated from but it's seen selling in cube stalls in the mall. It removes white head and black heads just like the normal strips except this comes in liquid form and a separate piece of paper for it. My aunt told me it's a great product and I didn't believe her at first. However, I love it after using it once. It literally removes all the white and blackhead better than those expensive nose strips. You gotta see it to believe it!

Yes, it's gross! I KNOW!! LOL!

Item no.5 - Mask Sheet from The Face Shop

The sales lady told me it was new in faceshop when I went to renew my membercard so I decided to get a few and I love it. It has a thin cotton sheet with lots of essence. Mask sheet is a MUST in your daily life! LOL! I use it twice a week.

Item no. 4 - April Skin Magic Cushion 2.0

If yall have been following my blog, you'll know that I recently started using this. It's been a few weeks and so far I'm loving the coverage of this BB Cushion. Although I'm not a fan of the cushion or puff but I still love using this when I'm in a rush. Definitely worth trying this item. To check out the review for this product. CLICK HERE!

Now, let's move on to my top 3 favorite product for the year 2016! These are the 3 products that I have to carry with me every time I travel. These are the must item in my everyday life!

Top no.3 - Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Watery Toner

I've used different kinds of toner before this and nothing seems to be working for me. It either cause me breakouts, enlarged pores or redness but this toner is not your typical water liquid toner. This toner seems to be more of a gel type but turns into liquid once applied on skin. It comes in a glass bottle too and I'm loving it! LOL! It is not that pricey, smells good and it's very hydrating.

Top no.2 - Miss En Scene Perfect Repair Hair Serum

I have been bleaching my hair and coloring it since I left high school so my hair is a tiny bit, well not tiny bit but VERY MESSED UP! It's dry and split ends everywhere and not even treatment can help it. So I decided to get this hair serum to see whether it works to keep my hair shiny and bouncy and yes! It really works to keep my hair less frizzy and looking healthier. It smells great too! So Yes! Whenever I travel, this has to be in my pouch!

Top no.1 - Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence

Lastly, my fav item for the year 2016 which I cannot survive without it the Missha's time revolution essence. I have been using this essence for a year now and it does wonders to my skin. It helps with my breakouts, dry skin and acne scars. It's a little bit pricey but it's definitely worth including this into your daily routine. This pretty much helps to clear my skin, it's like magic! LOL! You can also include a few drops into your foundation in the morning for a dewy look and it also keep your skin hydrated throughout the day.

*

There you have it my top 10 favorite product for the year 2016! I've been using all the above products for a while now and I definitely love them all. Once again I would like to wish all my loyal and beautiful/handsome readers out there a Happy New Year and 2017 will be a great year!

[Review] Lindsay Rubber Mask - Tea Tree

Hello everybody! I'm back again with another review and this time it's the Lindsay Modeling Rubber Mask. It is widely known among the Korean skincare routine and it's been out in the market for a while now. I've been wanting to post a review on the modeling mask but I wanted to test it out for myself before doing a review.

So here I am putting up a review after testing it out for a few months. The one I've tried are as below:

2 x Tea Tree
2 x Lavender
1 x Calendula
1 x Vitamin C

I will be doing a review on the Tea Tree version of the Lindsay Modeling Mask.

Cool (Tea-Tree) Modeling Mask

There are 8 different types of modeling mask by Lindsay available depending on your skin condition.

(Photo cr:shopcoupons.my)

Collagen - Moisturizes and plumps up skin (All skin type)
Charcoal - Lifts up oil and dirts (Oily skin)
Calendula - Helps to nourish and moisturize skin (Acne prone skin)
Lavender - Anti-oxidant to cleanse and combats environmental pollutants (All skin type)
Cool (Tea-Tree) - Aids in healing breakouts (Acne prone skin)
Pearl - Restores skin elasticity (All skin type)
Vitamin - Helps to renew, brighten and soothe irritated skin (All skin type)
Gold - Soothe inflammation (All skin type/Acne skin)

It comes in a plastic container at 30g worth of modeling mask powder for one time use only. There is a plastic lid protecting the cover.

Before opening the cover, make sure to lightly tap the sides of the container so the powder won't spill all over. It comes with a spatula inside the container for you to stir and apply. However I personally don't like the spatula provided because it is too short so I prefer to use my annie's way/ePure's spatula instead.

Spatula provided by Lindsay's Modeling Mask

I prefer using this spatula which is available when you purchase ePure or Annie's Way jelly mask

Note: When using this product, it may take a while to get use to mixing it. It may turn out too watery or too dry. It's all about trial and errors.

How to Use:

Step 1
On the container itself, there is a line as seen above. The purpose of the line is to guide you on how much water is needed.

Step 2
I push the powder one side so I can pour the water until the line indicator on the container.

Step 3
Please use warm water for this mask. If the water is too hot, it kills off the purpose of the mask but if it's too cold, the mask solidifies very fast creating lumps which makes it hard to apply.

Step 4
Pour in the water until the line then start to stir it. This steps tell you how much more water is needed. As you start stirring, it will slowly form a paste and gradually add in more water if needed.

Step 5
After stirring and adding water as needed, it will form a smooth paste as seen in the picture above. It is very important to get a smooth yet thick consistency as seen above. If it is too dry, it dries up very fast but if it is too watery, it will be hard to apply as it will start to drip.

Step 6
Apply it onto your face with the spatula. Make sure to apply it in thick layers.

Make sure to apply it thicker on the side so it is easier to remove the mask.

Note* From adding water till applying it all over your face should take around 1-2 minutes only. Otherwise the mask would dry up before you even get to apply it on your face.

It is super hard to explain how or where to apply all the mask so here is a picture of where I apply the mask. IT IS PERFECT TO APPLY IT AND SCARE PEOPLE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT! XD
* Yes it is my nail polish collection at the back. Check it out HERE

Applying it all over including your lips as it helps to moisturizes your lips too. Usually if there is someone to apply it for you, you may apply it on top of your eyes too. Use a damp cotton on top of your eyes and apply the mask all over. If you are applying it yourself, you do not need to apply it on your eyes.

Step 7
Remove the mask after 20 minutes. The reason to apply it thicker on the ends is so that you are able to remove the mask easily.

Step 8
Wash off residue with warm water and follow up with your moisturizer and you're done.

There are bits and pieces of black things in there. Don't worry, it is nothing scary as it is bits of tea-tree.

TIPS

1. Prep your skin before using the modeling mask. Prep with essence and serum for better effect.

2. Work fast as the modeling mask dries pretty fast.

3. You can scoop out half the powder if you are afraid of adding too much water making it too watery.

PROS

1. Moisturizes your skin instantly.
2. Does what it claims it does.
3. Minimizes pores
4. Improves complexion and hydration to tired skin. Tea-tree also calms sensitive skin that are easily irritated.
5. It does not evaporates unlike sheet mask. Although the outer layer is fully dry the inside of the mask stays wet.
6. It has a cooling effect due to the tea-tree

CONS

1. It takes a while to get use to mixing it.
2. First time users may not like the smell but overtime, you will get use to the smell.
3. The spatula provided is too short/small
4. One time use only at RM12.90 (BND$ 4.30) a little pricey for some.
5. Not suitable for people who are lazy or too tired for all the manual labour. LOL

RATINGS
Price - 4/5 Personally it is affordable as it really benefits my skin and does what it claims.
Hygiene -5/5 It is a one time use so just throw away the container once used. No contamination.
Quality - 4/5 Better than most sheet mask.

Would definitely purchase again.

Where to purchase it?

Beauty tools from Daiso

Hello again everybody! Gosh it's been a long time since my last post! Whatever it is, I'm back and today I would like to show you some beauty tools you can get if you happen to be shopping in Daiso. I'm sure they have it in all Daiso outlets.

I went to Daiso a few days ago and I got these 3 items that helps with your skin care routine.

- Silicone Moisturizing Mask for face
- Silicone Moisturizing Mask for heels
- Cotton Gloves

First item is the Silicone Moisturizing Mask for face. I'm a huge fan of Gina Darling although she is not a beauty guru, I still like watching her. She released her daily facial routine and above her mask she was wearing this silicone mask. Since I'm always using mask so I decided to get one too.

Check out her video here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZkMuYYaZFQ Subscribe to her channel!

The features of the silicone mask includes:
- Wrapping effect - work over sheet mask, it prevents the mask's serum from evaporating under air conditioning.
- With ear loops to prevent the sheet mask from slipping off when you move.
- Used in the bath without a sheet mask, it works as a face-steaming mask.
- Made of silicone material that does not have the unpleasant odor peculiar to rubber.
- Can be washed and reuse.

There are 2 ways you can use the silicone mask which is above a sheet mask or just the silicone mask alone during shower.

- Using over sheet mask.

- Using it alone in shower.

You can also adjust the size of the ear loops to fit it perfectly according to your personal preference.

- Cut along the line of the mask.

- There are two lines, cut accordingly and make sure it is not too lose so it fits perfectly without the mask falling off.

Price: RM$5.30 (incl. GST) - BND$1.79 (rate 2.96)
Hygiene: 5/5 as it can be washed and reuse.
Quality: 4/5 as it's silicone, I don't think it would last too long.

However, I would definitely repurchase it if it breaks.

Secondly, along with the silicone mask for face, I saw there there was a silicone mask for the heels too. So I decided to get it.

It has the same material as the silicone mask for face above except this is used on the heels. Dry and cracked heels is super annoying!

Features of this mask includes:
- Heels can easily become dry and cracked, but the mask will wrap them tightly to keep the moisture in.
- Simply putting these on after a bath moisturizes your heels.
- Applying cream under the mask will be even more effective.
- Silicone material does not emit any odor, unlike rubber.
- Can be washed and reuse.
- Free size.

I would use this after shower, immediately applying moisturizer and wearing it over. Its recommended usage time is around 15 minutes.

Lastly, the third item is Night Care 100% Cotton Gloves. For those who follow my blog knows that I love wearing nail polishes. Because of the nail polishes and removers, it usually dries out my fingernails and cuticles so hand care is very important for a healthy looking cuticle. (I'll be posting a different post on that)

100% Cotton Night Care Gloves.

Features of this gloves includes:
- For soft, smooth skin, apply hand cream before going to bed.
- Wearing the gloves heightens moisturizing actions.

Instead of the cream or treatment getting all over your bed sheets, phone or everything that you touch, this cotton gloves helps to prevent that. It actually helps the cream to stay on your hands and moisturizes them.

You can also use these gloves while doing hand mask treatment. Wearing them over the mask helps to lock in moisture increasing the effects of the mask.

Price: RM$5.30 (incl. GST) - BND$1.79 (rate 2.96)
Hygiene: 5/5 as it can be washed and reuse.
Quality: 3/4 as some people may be allergic to the cotton material depending on the user's personal condition.

I would definitely repurchase it again.
