Nail Polish Collections

Nail Polish Collections

Hello everybody!! It's been a while since I've update this site. I do update my personal blog if you follow me HERE . If yall follow me at Snapchat or Instagram @ KimmmyLoo you'll know that I love nail polishes the most and have tons of them! So with that, I decided to customize a rack for it and it's finally done! I've been dying to get my hands on it and it's finally ready and up on my wall.

I personally love collecting nail polishes and painting my nails whenever I'm free. I don't get it from a single brand only but I get it from any brand that I come across. It's pretty much a side hobby I enjoy whenever I'm bored. Maybe it will turn out to be a career in the future? Who knows?

What I have here is from Etude House, Nature Republic, The Face Shop, Skin food, Holika Holika, SASA and a few random ones as gifts from others.

I have so many bottle of polishes, sometimes i lost track of what colour I have or forgot how it looks like on my nails so I constantly have to try it on to see how the colour looks like on my nail. Getting annoyed with it, I decided to get some false nail sets from Ebay for about USD $1.70. I have the colour swatches on it to make my life easier rather than wasting cotton and nail polish remover.

So far my favourite one is from Nature Republic and Face Shop. The way the brush length and shape is, it is pretty easy to apply. It has a pretty thick consistency too so 1 layer is enough usually.

Separately I have a box to put all my other nail stuffs. I didn't want everything to lie around my table or get tons of containers stacking it one by one to put everything in so I was complaining to my mom about it so she got me this tool box kit and I love it. I keep my stamping kit, dotting tools, nail files, clippers, nail swatches, base coat, top coat, nail thinner and a few other things in there so everything is at reach when I need it.

That's all from my nail polish collections. Stay tune for more updates~

April Favorites! 2015

It's the end of the month again!! Sorry for not updating since the last post. I've been busy cramming for assignments throughout the week but I still managed to have an update on April's Favorites before it ends~ Here are the things I favor the most on April!

Aloe Moist Full Soothing Mist.

So far among all mist that I've tried throughout the year, I finally come across a mist from Etude House that moisturizes my face throughout the day and its the Aloe Soothing Mist. It does not leave any oily residue like most mist does.

It is enriched with Baobab Tree extracts, Organic Aloe and Organic Herb supplies that instantly moisturize and relieves out skin. Due to its size, it is easy to bring around so I usually carry it in my bag whenever I leave the house. Mostly I apply it every 2 hours to keep my skin moisturize.

Whole Chia Seed.

I was introduced to Chia Seed from a friend of mine and I've been loving it. Here's a little background on Chia Seeds. It is a flowering plant in the mint family. Chia is grown commercially for its seeds, a food that is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids. They are usually in brown, black and white colour. The seeds can absorb 12x their size when soaked. After soaking to its full size, it forms a mucus like gel on the outer area.

There are a few benefits to including Chia Seeds into your diet. That includes it being a natural treatment for type-2 diabetes, more fiber, omega-3, stronger teeth and bones, helps you get full faster, fight belly fats and others.

I tend to drink more water when I add Chia Seeds into my drink. I like chewing on the seed and the mucus likes substance around it. I'll be doing a separate post on Chia Seeds and more information and how you can include it into your diet.

Redoxon Vita Guard Ace+

I was first introduced to this tablet by one of my tuition student's mother. She told me the benefits of this tablet and I soon fell in love with it. It has Vitamin C, A, B6, B12, D, E, Folic Acid, Minerals, Zinc, Selenium, Copper and Iron in each tablet. It's a tablet around the size of a 50 cents, put it into a cup of water and look at it sizzle away.

I've been taking it for the past few months and I'm loving it, I definitely recommend it to those who are battling with pimple problems, it did solve my pimple problem after taking the tablet every morning,

Charcoal & Black Sugar Polishing Mask.

A range from Freeman has finally been brought into store by Watsons a few months ago. It contains Activated Charcoal which helps to absorb oil without over drying the skin and black sugar that helps to exfoliate dead skin cells. After using this, your skin feels softer and cleaner.

Usually I had to apply mask on after exfoliating but thanks to this, I won't need to apply mask after exfoliating. It's a 2 in 1! I am definitely getting it again after I finish mine.

Swiss Line Water Shock Foam Cleanser.

My favorite cleanser among all cleansers I have tried. I am currently on my 3rd set this month. I can't survive without it! XD It is suitable for dry and combination skin. It contains Lychee extract which is known to be great anti-oxidants. It helps to brighten the skin, providing natural exfoliation and helps to moisturize deeply.

EOS Lemon Lip Balm SPF15.

Applying lip balm is equally important to applying moisturizer on your skin. As usual, I love everything that has SPF compound in it that's why it made its way into my April Faves list!

Aloe Mask.

This mask belongs to "My Beauty Diary" range from Taiwan. What I like about this mask is that it has a lot of essence in it. Even after applying for 25-30 minutes, the mask still contain a fair amount of essence in it. It helps to moisturize and soothe all types of skin.

So, here are the list of my favorites for the month of April! I'll be posting up longer post on a few of the things I've mentioned above. Stay tune for more updates next month!

[Review] |ETUDE HOUSE| Precious Mineral BB Cream

Finally my first review as promised on my 1st post earlier last year. So today I'll be doing a review on Etude House's Precious Mineral BB Cream, All Day Strong. I will be doing on BB Cream #3 Sheer Flawless Skin.

BB Cream is pretty famous among almost everyone in the world. For those who may not know what BB means, here's what it meant. BB stands for Blemish Balm as a all-in-one base that give you coverage, sun protection, whitening and most other purposes. It contains about 80% of skin-healing ingredients. So let's get started.

Weigh:60g

As for this BB Cream, it provides purposes such as anti-wrinkle, Whitening and also Anti-Darkening along with a SPF/30PA++.

Description
Precious Mineral BB Cream promotes silky complexion and brightened look with pearl infused sheer coverage improved SPF protection with a hypoallergenic and oil-free formulas.

Packaging
Just like any other etude house BB Cream packaging it comes in a tube along with a pump dispenser. The tube of the BB Cream itself is almost pinkish to purple.

I love how it comes in a pump dispenser, it is pretty hygienic as you pump it onto your fingers without contaminating the rest of the BB Cream.

Swatches without flash from BBcream itself to slightly swatch then to blended to my skin.
With flash.

SCENT & TEXTURE
As for the scent, it has a floral scent, not too strong, just nice almost the same as most other BB Cream. It has more of a pinkish undertone. It may be suitable for most people with fair skin. It has a heavy coverage for the purpose of dealing with redness and blemishes. Concealer may not be needed due to it's high level of coverage but may be optional depending on user. The blending process is pretty easy as the BB Cream is easy to blend onto the skin covering pores easily creating a shorter time in your make up routine.

WHEN IN USE.
Although this BB Cream may be for all skin types but I personally think it is the most suitable for Dry/Combination types. It creates more of a dewy finish as seen on above picture. Although it may seem too pink but BB Cream is known to oxidize over a period of time. In within minutes, it would be even with your original skin tone.

PROS
- Great amount of coverage
-SPF30/PA++
-Contains skincare such as Anti-Wrinkle, Whitening and Anti-Darkening.
-helps brighten up the skin.
-stays on the skin for a long period of time/does not need retouch.
-available almost everywhere store/online.
-nice packaging
-smells decent
-comes in a pump dispenser/hygienic purposes
-large tube of 60g

CONS
-could be easily wiped off especially when you sweat.
-due to the weather I am in(Brunei Hot/Wet) it gets oily easily around my T-zone area as I am a combination skin person so blotting paper is necessary once a while.
Other than this, I couldn't think of any other cons from this BB Cream as this is my absolute favourite.
